More About Ainsley

4U Psychology and Coaching is a place dedicated to serving you and your wellness needs. At 4U Psychology and Coaching I recognize the importance of having a safe place to voice your concerns and feelings, to explore the events in your life and the impact it has had, to have access to education and evidence-based therapy and coaching strategies. I know that reaching out for support is the hardest step and I am here to make it as friendly as possible.

Talking to your friends and family may not be enough so I can fill that gap and am passionate about providing the opportunity and tools to improve your wellness and navigate the challenges life can throw our way.

At 4U Psychology and Coaching you have access to over 20 years of education and experience. My journey started with completing an undergraduate at the University of Lethbridge in Psychology and Exercise Science, in additional to working as a Fitness trainer. I then attained my Master of Clinical Psychology in Calgary while working as a Research Assistant in Neurology.

My education led me to work with Alberta Health Services for 15 years in various Psychologist roles from Psychiatric Emergency, Mobile Response and Crisis team, and Outpatient Mental Health Clinics. I also volunteered at the Calgary Distress Centre and East Side Family Crisis Center.

I started my private practice in 2017 so I could focus on my passion of offering advanced therapies of Natural Processing (also known as Somatic/ Vagus Nerve therapy) and coaching. I know that simply talking about our concerns is not enough, I offer advanced approaches that support your body and mind’s natural healing abilities and a confidential space to be yourself and talk openly without worrying about judgement or upsetting others.

Whether you are questioning your mental health, feeling lost and needing direction, are hearing concerns from others, facing a life change, or just wanting more out of life; let’s connect and explore this together.

Outside of working as a Psychologist; I am also a former competitive athlete and mother of two children and one fur baby. I enjoy staying active with various activities and spending time with family and friends.
